Just a bit of fun..... and please... this is not aimed to elicit replies like 'wish they would fix the existing functionality first'.... :)

2 new functionalities I would like on my cars are.....

1. Side bolsters that go fully flat to allow easy ingress and then move back to upright before moving off.

2. Adding a 'mirror folded in' function when on the move - that asks if you want to 'remember' the location to fold mirrors in - like it already does for lifts over obstacles. There are a number of narrow streets, traffic calming measures and country lanes around my area, where I always have to fold the mirrors in on my A7 to allow 2 vehicles to pass safely - It would be nice for the memory to do it in the same place without prompting.

Any other ideas out there?

Great idea. That would also save leather on side bolsters.

my wish: make passengers’ screen as web browser.
I'd vote for the web-browser idea - brill! .............would keep the missus busy ;)

Pretty minor things overall but:

More RAS angle - The EQS actually has a slightly smaller turning circle because it can turn the rear at 10 degrees.
HUD enhancements - Will really miss being able to see and scroll through upcoming songs in the HUD on my X1, feels like they could be doing more with what they have, let alone some of the more "augmented reality" style HUDs that they could upgrade to.
Change the chrono dial - I don't know what exactly they should do with it, but it feels so disjointed from the rest of the interior
Sentry mode and dashcam - We have all these cameras on our cars, every modern vehicle should be able to use them as dash cams, and there's no reason not to use them for watching the car when locked as well.
Gravel mode/raised height on more than the CT - Really wish I would be able to get my ST to about 7" of ground clearance on snowy days. Probably a bit of a niche case, but I love driving in heavy snow.
Manual fan direction control - It's one thing when the vents are hidden, but they're just a total tease right now reminding you of how easy it could be.

Lots of great enhancements there - particularly the sentry mode - can't understand why this functionality (including dash-cam) isn't standard on all cars with 3D surround cams - hardly rocket science. Surely expected on a 100K++ car.

I was going to say a better Text Messaging interface, but then I realized- I really like to friggin drive this car. So, do not improve the Text Messaging interface so I can focus on driving and I'll talk to everyone when I'm done with "me time".

+1 On Sentry mode, and leveraging cameras on four sides.

I would add:
  • Sport chrono:
    • Multiple individual modes, and the ability to name each one.
    • Cross Turismo - ability to select Gravel mode through Sport Chrono drive mode selector. Motivation: let the car remain in Gravel mode if that was the mode when you stopped. For when the conditions that necessitated Gravel mode are still there upon resuming. Could be achieved with multiple individual modes.
  • OTA updates for non PCM software (Battery Management etc)
  • Optionable spare wheel with fitted tote and tethers for trunk.
  • Offline power for accessories like dash cam, ski boot warmers, coolers. (Meaning no risk of 12V LV battery depletion).
  • CCS port on both sides.

Some of these kind of practical improvements should be gold dust for Porsche - if they would listen - direct input of customer needs. It would need filtering of course - but it's a shame Porsche won't receive any of this to consider. Some of these would cost little in development, $ or effort.

- Be able to use waze or ABRP or any sat nav in CarPlay at the same time as the native in car navigation.
I’m using the car navigation to the next charger to preheat and I still have to use waze and ABRP on my iPhone but not connected via CarPlay as it’s one or the other.

+1 for the sentry mode
+ start in individual mode or any mode and settings that you want to keep linked to the key

+1 linking preferred mode+settings to key
+1 more integrated Nav + user selectable preheat management (paraphrasing)

Also, more diamond buttons. Ideally for me in a 2x2 grid on the center console, or maybe a 4x1 row. For extra credit, add a fifth modifier button that allows you to have a second set of functions for those four buttons. That might be a bit too much for the techno-phobes, but maybe have them be OLED screens so that they tell you what the button does rather than being a diamond that they might forget what does what.

+1 .......would definitely want this! .... perhaps if proper buttons, just have different symbols like a playstation controller.
