I took ownership of my Taycan 4s with extended Battery 2 weeks ago. I didn’t spec it much more than that, bar privacy glass, Porsche sound and gloss window trims (as it’s a lease).
My initial impressions are all positive, bar a couple of minor irks, the car is excellent and in particular drives like a petrol car as opposed to an electric car (like the Tesla) due to being able to turn off the regen.
one of my issues is every time I get out the car I seem to mark the edge of both the door and more so the pillar (between front and back door) trying to get myself out the car.
maybe it’s just me, but trying to get under the steering wheel and out the door (which you often can’t open in car parks as it’s too big) means you end up scraping against both these parts and they mark easily.
I’m 5’11 and 13 stone so not particularly big.
My main issue that I hope someone can explain is that on Friday I charged the car to full, did a couple of journeys and parked up at 95%.
We then got hit by storm Arwen so it never moved until Monday and when I started it, it was at 65% charge?
the only thing I used battery for was the heating of the car for doing the school run this morning using the timer asi do every Mon-Fri .
anybody know why I could lose all that battery power?
thanks
