I’m approaching the cut off for modifying the order for my Taycan 4S and I’m thinking of adding the Night Vision Assist option. At $2450 it’s pricey for sure, but in the opinion of the forum is it a worthy option? Does the technology work? I’ve looked on YouTube for answers, but not much there except for a short clip in a Cayenne. Thanks in advance.

If you live/drive in the city, I find it doesn’t have much purpose. I am on dark roads all the time with chance of animals, it comes in very handy for this. Hope that helps

I live in the suburbs, where we have kids walking on neighborhood streets and deer randomly appearing near or on the streets. Night Vision Assist has saved me a couple of times in six months. It's totally worth it.

My wife's Cayenne Turbo has it and we are a huge fan of it for backroads and spotting deer, etc.

A lot
I love it and it's so cool!
You'll spot people where you can't even see them.
It works brilliantly as it has saved me from a collision too!

The people who do have it on the forum rave about it, also unexpected features such as working n the background even if you don’t have it set on your display

I like this so much, the most important thing is that the car illuminate with high bean the possible obstacle in front of you with some flash only on the item (the matrix led system work very well), you don't need to see on display because the car want your attention directly to the obstacle.
I don't have on my car but if i can come back i order it.

I’m definitely getting the HUD. Anyone know if there is any integration of the night vision assist with the HUD?

I've had the same experience several times now. I was on the fence, but my wife really wanted it. Now I'm convinced it's really worth it.

I live in a deer rich area and it is very helpful.

It is absolutely amazing. Operating in the background so you don't have to look at it unless it alerts. Then you see an image and the headlights turn to illuminate the offender. It's just amazing. I was on the fence and couldn't be happier with it.
