Passenger side electric heater replacement recall

I rang to book my car in for an MOT and was told there is a recall campaign to replace the passenger side electric heater. I was told it is a new campaign so I might not have a letter about it yet. I didn’t even know there was an electric heater on the passenger side! My heater was replaced a couple of years ago when it failed before the recall campaign got to me. I have no idea if this is related in any way.

Anyone else heard of this one? The want me to leave the car for most of the day (no surprise there)

If this is for J1.1 cars then I had this issue prior to delivery of my then new GTS ST. The car was delivered to the dealership in March 23 but a stop sale put in place due to a faulty passenger side heater. Annoying that factory fresh cars were being shipped with faulty units. No actual campaign back then but the car was perfect from delivery until I sold it 2 years later.

A worry if there is now a new campaign pending.

Exactly what is a "passenger-side heater" in a Taycan?
There is one high-voltage heater often called the passenger cabin heater. (That heater has had several recalls and campaigns.) It heats the entire cabin, among other functions.
There are heaters in driver and passenger seats.

That was sort of my question. She definitely said “passenger side” but maybe meant “passenger compartment”. But that was replaced nearly 2 years ago. I don’t know if is the same thing or not. Oh well. Maybe will find out when they do it.

Part of the arrangement for the HV heater sits on the passenger side from what I understand.

My 2024 GTS ST was in my OPC last week for tracker fob activation/pairing and they said there was a passenger side heater recall required, asked if I wanted to leave the car with them until the following day as the recall takes around 6 hours.

I decided I was as well doing so as I was already there so they gave me a Macan loaner.

The recall is marked on my invoice as 'Campaign WSL3'

Thanks for sharing. Note it is described as "passenger compartment heater".
I have not seen anything else about heater campaign WSL3.

My Porsche app pinged with a message that my monitoring software had highlighted a need for the heater recall and when I phoned the dealer to arrange it, and get the lane change assist selectable again, I was told there was a headlight re-programming too.
Visit organised for next month.

Oh NO, not another heater recall!

I have had 3 units replaced so far!

Maybe that will be part of annual checks before winter
