The dealer called me to postpone the software update to November 9th ... and all the dealers in my region did the same thing...?...Strange things...

Is the update for PCM 6.0 on My20, 21??

This looks like a material improvement (much needed) did your dealer confirm that it’s available for all Taycans MY20 onwards?

I’ve heard nothing here in Canada but will push my dealer when I go in for my winter tires.

The hardware looks pretty much the same between MY2021 and MY2022 ...

What did you ask the dealer for? Is there a campaign, or just that you want the new PCM 6?

@blulite …so, was the dealer that called me , because an upgrade was available…and when I asked which one, they told me “for PCM and motors setting”…nothing else…I asked some software’s name or code ,as well, but dealer was not able to answer…??‍

I think I recall that there was a PCM hardware difference between MY20 and MY21/22. If so, PCM 6 may not be installable on MY20 Taycans.

So I have a 4S at the dealers bought it off the showroom floor but not in possession yet as need to wait for them to replace it, should still be this side of Christmas. Its a 2021 build a month short of 2022 with PCM 6.0 but not the latest version with Android Auto. I am trying to understand if the latest version can be updated onto the 2021 version of 6.0? Still waiting for the dealer to confirm but it’s been 3 weeks since I asked. Can anyone shed some light on this at all? Thanks

just left the car at the dealership for the update: it seems to be PCM6, reprogramming of the 22 kw on-board charger and electronic power reprogramming
