He hasn’t picked it up. As soon as we know more I’ll give an update.

Thanks for mentioning this. I was going to say it but you beat me to itI got around that error by connecting to the built in web interface on the PMCC and turning off PLC. (You may have to enable the WiFi hotspot on the PMCC first.). My understanding is that’s something that would be used if you have the “Porsche Home Energy Manager” - which is not available in the US.
may be it wasn't the best example but look at the labels of the GW:Also i beleive the 1K0 907 951 is not a generic partnumber. The first three digits indicates it as having been used first on the (1K) VW Golf (Mk V), and as the parts have been used on many other carmodels since it might give the impression of been a generic part.
Ahh... understood. I have seen this from time to time indeed, but not very common on infotainment-related parts where i mostly work. Not sure what this means...or why they do this.may be it wasn't the best example but look at the labels of the GW:

2 part numbers, a "normal" and what I meant to be generic which is called
HW: 1K0 907 951
which seems to refer to a hardware??
I have seen similar part number systems when I looked for a blow off valve for 996 Turbo which was of course shared with Audi TT, VW and 1.8T engines.
do you know what the build date was?So my friends Taycan did not receive the new PCM update. No info from nobody on how Porsche will handle this. Some random salesperson at a Porsche dealer near me just told me the already know "blabla" about how newer Taycan have different hardware. That is just a bullshit answer. If the difference was like PCM 3.0 to PCM 5.0, I would take the hardware difference as an answer, but colored icons and some spotify is huge bullcrap if that was hardware restricted. In Joe Biden voice "Come on, man!"
I think yours will be the updated version. Mine is currently at Grimsby, arrived last week. My Porsche activation shows integrated Spotify option. My build completed 18/02.Member on a Taycan FB group just picked his up in the UK today and still no coloured icons/spotify. Mine is waiting at Emden for shipment, having finished build about a week ago so will report when it arrives but doesn't look like they have switched over yet.
Interesting, mine was scheduled to complete on the 25th Feb (I'm guessing you meant Feb too or you definitely have a forward looking one ?) but it was already at the port by the 26th so may have been slightly ahead of time. Mine's due into Sheerness on the 11th if all goes to original timing. Shame not Grimsby really, as I'm from there (hence the haddock...) though been down souf since uni.I think yours will be the updated version. Mine is currently at Grimsby, arrived last week. PLC is.not HEM related. Powerline communication (PLC) is a means to connect your PMCC to your WiFi router via an adapter which uses the electrical circuit in your home to carry data comms if you can't connect wirelessly. Thanks for mentioning this. I was going to say it but you beat me to it![]()
I did in mean 27/02 (now edited).Interesting, mine was scheduled to complete on the 25th Feb (I'm guessing you meant Feb too or you definitely have a forward looking one ?) but it was already at the port by the 26th so may have been slightly ahead of time.
