Recuperation mode?

I have “Auto Recuperation” turned on as part of my Individual drive mode setting. It’s muscle memory for me now; whenever I get into the car I spin the steering wheel selector to the right to dial in all my preferred settings.

I have it on. Driving fast on motorway prefer a bit of deceleration before the bends same as ice. That’s what I’ve grown up with. Old habits.

For safety absolutely. For economy it’ll always be more efficient to coast. But coasting = less control in the land of advanced driving
