First day this year where i've needed to scrape/de-ice the windscreen. I can only imagine there was a tiny bit of grit on the scraper. Long story short i seem to now have quite a few vertical scratches on my windscreen. I'm sure they are pretty superficial and only noticed them when driving towards the sun. Any products out there to make this sort of thing go away, or am i just going to make it worse?

Ta.

what a shame...
I used the "pre-heating" function in earnest today - it was -5 outside. It defrosted the windscreen surprisingly quickly without any need for scraping... (not that would help you in anyway now - just sharing the observation that heater worked way better than I expected - we started pre-heating of the i3 at the same time, and the i3 was still frosted when taycan was toasty and ready to go)...

Yep. Was in a rush and started scraping at the same time as i put the preheat on. Wasn't even that thick. FFS!

Glass is pretty tough. Youl‘ll need some Cerium Oxide power and a machine polisher. Not for the feint hearted!

Bit late to suggest this but I’ve always poured luke warm water on my frozen windscreens. Clears them instantly. DON‘T use boiling water. The thermal shock could shatter the windscreen.

I'm really sorry to hear that. Have you spoken to someone like Autoglass? They might be able to polish it, or perhaps suggest a company near you that specialises in this. Although, I've read on the forum on another thread that polishing could make the glass a bit cloudy, so probably worth speaking to the professionals before making a decision.
