I also have completed software update and ac pipe
Two interesting features post update
Sometimes the car does not “come alive “ just by unlocking and engaging D or R
You have to press the dash start button - didn’t need to do that before
And apple car play not working says need to connect phone to USB port
Before update phone connected with same cable worked fine ( phone still connects automatically to CarPlay in Range Rover )
Anyone else seen this
The dealer is arranging to collect car and recheck updates - but have not seen either of the above before
Any clues appreciated

You might try stepping on the brake pedal when you enter the car to get things going without touching the start button. That is how my car operates.

hi, thanks good suggestion, ...... but i always do that, comes from olden days of starting classic cars with manual gearboxes, dodgy batteries and poor starters!
its not that , i probably should have mentioned in initial post - sorry

I get the same issue where I occasionally have to press the start button!
Regarding car play I don't get that issue but I do have loads of others!

one big annoying issue with the PCM is that when I'm on a call it drops from the car back to my phone, sometimes the call is still showing on the screen but sometimes it disappears and the music starts blasting out

Wow, I have never once had to push the power button to “start” the car. As soon as I close the door, my seat moves into my position and the car boots up. I’ve only ever used the power button to shut the car down. I do wish it had walk-away locking, which may be a sitting somewhere that I haven’t turned on yet...

I have had the walk away locking work. I think you have to use the start button to turn it off first. It would be nice if you could leave it on and still get the walk away turn off and locking. Not sure if there’s a way to do that. I think the Tesla can do that.

Exactly - that’s how mine used to work before Update
Took me 25 mins to realise that pushing the start button may fix my apparently “ dead car”
niw works as you describe about 70% of the time - the remainder I have to push the power button - very strange

Aren’t you supposed to hold the button down?

it doesn't seem to matter, sometimes it just decides not to work at all!

My seat works as expected on men 2 ( I’m always 2 my wife nabs 1!)
But seat moves back when off and then automatically mixes to men pos 2 when I start the car - dont need to press any buttons
Car going back to dealer for a second go at upgrades
CArPlay just doesn’t work says. Connect compatible phone to usb
But the phone and usb cable are the same as before upgrades ( no phone updates ) and bought and tried with another cable - no luck

I have to hold the button down on the Macan, the seat only moves while the button is being pressed.

As a software engineer .. the fact it says "SNAPSHOT" is not a good sign ..
Plus they are still running a version compiled in January - despite the numerous glaring issues.
