My understanding is that Porsche designates acid green brake calipers for their hybrid vehicles.
I wish they had this option for the Taycan and Maycan EVs.
I’m considering aftermarket painting mine to Acid Green.
Thoughts?

I believe that Porsche doesnt make this green aesthetic standard anymore….due to customer preference for less “in your face” colors.

Yeah, Porsche reserves acid green for their hybrid models - it's kind of their thing. But if you want that pop of color on your Taycan or Macan EV, aftermarket painting could work. Just find a reputable shop specializing in brake caliper painting. To make your ride last and look sharp, focus on the prep work and quality of the paint job. Give meticulous attention to these crucial aspects. And hey, if you're into that acid green vibe, go for it! Let your wheels grab attention.

I asked for this on mine - OPC in the UK told me was not possible - at any price - and after market caliper paint could affect warranty - I'm not sure they could make the later stick legally - but that's what they said. Cheers

black with aurum wheels. Not 100% on the gold with green.
Doh, I should have looked at your avatar

I’m pretty sure painting your callipers won’t be worth the expense. I was going to paint my PCCB callipers the traditional yellow but decided to keep them OEM black as supplied for that Stormtrooper look.

Just my personal opinion here, but why would you want to distract from the beautiful lines of what is IMO the best looking sedan ever created. Red/Green, even white calipers grab your attention, and is that what you want people looking at? Why? If you're looking at painting your calipers, I would absolutely go for black. Imagine this car with green calipers...

IMO those three colors would go together exceedingly well but, as has been mentioned above, you have to decide whether you want to draw that much attention to your brakes.

I would say Sonerwunsch, but they won't do something if it was designated for a certain model
