worth the price? Not sure. I like the more aggressive details. It provides a nice edge to the new design language for Porsche. I was numb at this point in the options list....

but I love the look

Looks AWESOME in white! Totally more aggressive look all the way around.

Many thanks! I wouldn’t change a thing. (Except the eye watering price and depreciation)

I ordered mine in carrera white with sport design package in high gloss black, combined with rims in high gloss black. I thought that a nice setup. I agree that the rear end looks great, but
i think the front looks good to, but is it worth the extra money?

I think your build looks awesome with the sport design option and high gloss look
I myself definitely like the high gloss or carbon fiber look better than the painted version for light color vs dark color

It's worth the money if you like it better. You'll forget how much you spent in a month or two. You won't forget what it looks like (or doesn't).

Honestly, don't bother - not worth (nor are the side skirts on their own (not fully colour coded)) the cost and certainly don't enhance the appearance - you have to look hard to spot the difference and some folk might actually prefer it 'as is'.

If the skirts could be fully colour coded these at least would be a consideration and equally the front valance but not on 4S or basic.

My colleague has it, I don't; otherwise same car/ color.

the difference is almost invisible. There are better, more useful options.

Hi......one last decision I have is ether to check the box for the sport design package
I’m on the fence and looking for any suggestions if you chose one or the other
Here are some comparison photos

I think both versions look cool. As a result, I’m happy with the standard and a few thousand bucks in my pocket for something else! I received my car recently, standard exterior, and still can hardly believe how good it looks [to me]. Horses for courses though!

My Partner in Custom Fabrication will be coming out soon with a Custom Front Splitter using the Factory application. We're also coming out with Custom Side Skirts that are Factory application also.
Now both of these can be Color Matched to your Specific Color also, at an additional fee of course.
We already Custom made a Rear Window Spoiler that can be Color Matched as well.
That goes for our Trademarked Jack Pads too.
We are a Total Custom Fabricator that can Virtually Make Anything you Wish Come True. As Rick says we can make Your Dreams Come True.
Here are a few pictures of what we have Designed already.
Thanks David

Hello, I’m revisiting this topic because I might have missed something... is there a specific part number that includes all the components needed to convert the standard 4S (J1) front bumper to the Sport Design bumper? I simply want to order it from my local Porsche dealership and have it delivered to my body shop for painting and installation. Thanks for your valuable help! Bye for now.

Google it but here's a pointer - https://www.design911.com/porsche/taycan/design-packages/

The most expensive approach is after market.

Relatedly on some models is the option for carbon fiber front splitter pieces, side skirt inlays and rear diffuser (four pieces shown in white below for visual purposes below), though at over $4K for the real carbon fiber, I am again repeating my “Plan B.” Coincidentally I saw the Porsche’s real carbon fiber pieces on a Taycan at the dealership yesterday and the CF package looked great, but “no thanks” for $4,120.

Instead of real carbon fiber, and also instead of regular clear PPF to protect especially the front splitter from rock chips, I am getting my PPF specialist to install STEK’s glossy visual carbon fiber PPF (I believe there are a couple of other brands). STEK’s is so good that I have had in on my C8 Z06’s complete diffuser for years and it still looks new and beautiful (and laughed like hell when at a car show last summer two folks argued with one saying the entire carbon fiber diffuser was real, the other one (my friend who knew) saying, “it’s only PPF wrapped.” Install cost is $0 as I would have had the installer put clear PPF there anyway. The cost of the materials and getting them could be however a challenge (you do not want to buy a whole roll lol) — though I am very fortunate that my friend who installed STEK on my Z06’s diffuser has a shop across the country and will send me the four pieces for my local installer to put on. I am not doing the side skirt inlays. STEK’s not cheap (they are very proud of their excellent carbon fiber PPF) but total cost is going to be hundreds, not Porsche’s exorbitant amount.

Just another option…
