Happens to me multiple times on any long freeway drive. No longer surprises me, just annoying at this point.

Has anyone gotten a permanent fix for this issue. I turn it off everyday but it is a pain. My local dealership says no one else has this issue. I say BS.

It used to happen a couple times a month, but a lot more frequently recently. I can't figure out what caused the issue. I had it in all kinds of road conditions, but I can't duplicate it. My hand was always on the steering wheel during these events.
80% happened while driving on the freeway, it's not lack of attention, because I had light pressure on the steering wheel to keep the car in the middle of the road and apply power to maintain traffic speed. There was one time during lane change on the freeway.

The warning comes on consistently for me on two highway stretches that are perfectly straight for a surprisingly long distance in New England.
Although this is an annoying flaw, at least it’s consistent!

I love EV, I've assisted so many friends with Tesla, BMW, Audi, GM and even Smart EV (<$45/month lease).
Taycan is the only car I would not recommend my friends to own. I personally still love the Porsche brand, design and driving experience, I'll continue to put up with these carp. No way I'll recommend to a friend for a Taycan since these issues are not isolated, I'm the lucky one compare with some other members on this forum.

I don't get anything on the dash other that a red warning message saying "Take over steering" - do you get this message?
LKA will occasionally activate when there are no line markings on the road or when you drift out of your lane. Yes, there is a brief reduction in power, which is resolved when the steering is adjusted to place the car between the lines. This is not an issue, you should be able to turn it off in the PCM.

I get this error message every week, usually on the highway while driving in a straight line. A Porsche mechanic told me that the sensors aren’t in the steering wheel itself but located at the steering rack level... It seems that a bit of play in that part could be causing the message. I’m not sure if it can be fixed without replacing the steering rack. My 0.02
