Taycans on trackdays Spa Francorchamps 🇧🇪

This weekend was porsche in Spa Formula 1 circuit.
I drove my Taycan CT and the 911 GT3.
A porsche truck was there to give us some Power, a 2,1 MW truck, powered by electricity.
All Taycans from Porsche experience where there and mine, they needed a green one .

There was during one hour, taycan on circuit. Bad ass. On Sunday, also all Porsches where allowed to go for 2 rounds on circuit. But with the Taycans and a Spyder upfront.

can you guess what power was used for one day to charge around 25 Taycans during and before?


1,7 MW !!

I have been there for classic F1 races too whilst I was FIA Technical Delegate for classic Formula 1, less work but I much preferred being on the competitor side of the fence to being an official!

It’s indeed a nice one. Last Tuesday i was on Mettet circuit. Driving at the Lotus track day. It’s more a motor cicuit but with an exige lotus with 290 hp, it’s also fun.

i see on your picture that you’re familiar with the circuit. Some interesting people. Yourself included.

On the picture i see Sir Williams Frank and Mr Mansel Nigel, so i take my hat off.

I tought so. A honour to talk and share some passion about cars.

Multiple days, he performed good, i could compare with turbo s models. It’s also about the driver.
To be honoust, driving with the ct4 with your normal tyres, in my case the Michelins, it’s not the same as driving with the gt3, but my tyres where warm and it was ok. 2m59s42 hs is ok for this car of 2,4 ton. I drove faster then some others with a Ice Porsche. Control, braking, speed, comfort was al .

Soon i will be organising an EV meeting, just a small rally, between several HPC stations . More later, also on this forum.

I am thinking it's probably not from a home plug socket
