It’s the GTS for me….I ordered same GTS in chalk for June delivery. Any reason in the GTS you didn’t choose the electric port cover? I missed it on my first build and went back and made the change. Not hugely important but I thought it was a cool feature and liked the additional black accent, but I also have the high gloss black door handles too.

With my ridiculous number of options, there's "only" a $10k difference between the two cars. Wondering if anyone can speak to how pronounced the power difference would be.

Note: I rented a base-level Taycan a few weeks ago and nearly got into trouble just driving that with the speed cams
On launch control significantly but day to day you'd likely not notice.

If you're not getting some of the GTS specific things like the unique race-tex interior or the gray (unsure of actual color name) RS Spyder wheels and you're spending Turbo money on the GTS anyway, I can't see any reason why you'd go with a GTS over the Turbo

Turbo. Unless your just into paying for tarting up. Then the answer is always GTS in a Porsche.

I would go Turbo. I’ve never been a big fan of the “large wheel scoop” front end. I think the rounded lines match the rest of the car much better on the normal facia.

I’m in a similar quandry but between 4S and Turbo (due to crazy lead times on GTS) for me on a company car scheme the gross monthly difference is £200 per month but yet there’s a £20k price difference in vehicles - therefore it’s a no brainier!
Similar figures for a 3yr PCP. A big factor is that the Turbo comes as standard with what would cost £15k as options on the 4S. Options have minimal influence on RVs, so that's £15k depreciating to crumpence on a 4S whereas that portion of the Turbo cost depreciates in line with the total vehicle e.g. by around 40% after 3 yrs dependent on mileage. Though of course you wouldn't necessarily want all those options (I reckoned around 50% of them, but that was enough to persuade me to go for the Turbo).

I'm not sure how well all of that applies to GTS v Turbo, but I'd recommend running the numbers, especially forecast RVs.

Sound advice but it doesn't reflect the actual market conditions where 2nd hand values have increased and Porsche UK dealers selling 16 month old cars on or near original retail. Depreciation (in my view) will not be 40%. Good to be conservative however.

I would go GTS. Performance difference in real life is négligeable. I think interior GTS is very nice and resale on GTS will be better (%wise). I would also go for the GTS interior pack, looks stunning and will add value at resale for real GTS enthusiasts.

I waited for the GTS primarily because i cannot drive an EV called "Turbo". If you go with the Turbo, I'd recommend adding the sport front fascia. Your GTS render looks a lot cooler from the front than the Turbo currently.
This always baffles me, Turbo has been used as a term in semiconductors since at least the 80s. would you not use nearly all CPU’s or GPU’s of the last 40 years because they associated “Turbo” with speed as opposed to its original literal meaning?

Ouch! ? I'm guessing you're not a fan of the matching Alcantara underpants then...
Not unless they say ‘GTS’ in at least ten places on them. IMO, the Porsche GTS model is a marketing gimmick. Minor performance increase, a lot of lipstick, and the GTS badge. Makes Porsche lots of money though. In the sports cars I’ve always preferred the S models (or the true GT models) to the GTS.

I passed on the Turbo because I’d like to keep my driver’s license.
