I don't recall reading anywhere that it is a good idea to mix brands on a car; in fact the statement is usually the opposite --- run the same exact tire brand/model on every corner of the vehicle.

I guess if it were an old beat up junker it would not matter as much, but for a high performance Taycan I predict you are headed for a big problem sometime in the near future..... hope I am wrong.
Normally you would never mix tyre treads (cross-ply / radial). Mixing brands is not ideal / preferred / recommended but some brands are certified for it.

All of which begs the question….with so many options to customize a Porsche, I’ve always found it interesting that they don’t allow for a customer to spec their own choice for a tire brand. Have a 2022 TCT which came with Goodyears, my least desirable tires ever. (Michelins would have been much preferred)

I asked the SA about the same and he essentially said they come with the tyres they come with. Not great IMO, so I’m hoping mine comes with Michelin (20”). With Audi when specifying a new car, I requested a brand and they accommodated it when it came in to the dealer.

The configurator will tell you what tyres you'll get - tap the tyre icon on the wheel option.

Unfortunately, they are now a Chinese company
Not really. ChemChina owns a controlling interest, but the company is still publicly traded and based in Italy. And the Company has manufacturing facilities all over the world. It's not a 'chinese company'.
