Hi Guys,

I find the Bosch micro edge blades are the best for making the best contact with the windshield. All the other blades with thicker blades don’t last as long and usually begin to fail by not making full contact with the windshield.
I have tried all the different blade technologies and always end up back with the simple but most effective micro edge blades.
Even in heavy snow & ice these blades which are supposed to perform better than the Bosch micro edge to minimize ice forming and freezing on the blade suspension system don’t actually last very long because the trade off to repel snow & ice comes at the cost of basic wiper performance & lifetime.
Unless you live in an area where you get heavy snow all the time I would stick with Bosch Micro edge blade refills to go in the Porsche blade frames which came with the vehicle.
I believe the blades that are stock on the Taycan are Bosch.

I’ll have to check those out. Did you get refills for the Porsche wiper arms or did you replace the entire blade/suspension arm as a unit?
Just the blades which pop out.

Put the wipers in maintenance mode so that you can raise the arms off the screen for access.

I’ve been trying to find a UK source for all 3 wiper blades (other than Porsche) - the rear is surprisingly hard to find - haven’t found a single online retailer that stocks them all.

Thanks. You can’t go wrong with Bosch products. There’s a reason the OEMs in Germany all use Bosch for a wide array of components.

I had this issue with my CT rear wiper blade. In the end I just went to Porsche I’m afraid having exhausted all the avenues I could think of.

I always go OEM blades, anything else is not quite as good in my experience.

I agree. Evidently the OEM blades on the Porsche Taycan are from Valeo which I’ve never seen in stores but they do work perfectly.
it appears Bosch also sells a direct replacement with the same part number 9J1-955-425-DY.
It would be interesting to hear from Taycan owners on the forum who have used both & can give their opinions on how they compare.

I didn't notice any difference.

Hi Guys,

I tried Kimblade wipers and have been very happy with them. They wipe clean and last at least 2x more than Bosch blades. The blade design is non-traditional but they work well. They even have carbon fiber (look) if you want.

On both my Taycan and wife’s Lc500. Recommended.
