I believe WMA7 is the charger update. I had to give them that today so they could do both the car and the charger. I’m hoping that enables plug n charge without me having to enter a pin. My charger is public accessible.

That was already possible.

I got mine (MY21) back today from the workshop.
and suddenly Apple Music and Apple Podcasts are missing from the media list?!
I don’t mind it that much because I use wireless CarPlay anyway.
But it makes me wonder if the update process was flawless?!
Apart from that I haven’t noticed anything of significance so far.

Have you checked from the PCM that there are no undownloaded (is that a word?) parts of updates? Mine had the same issue when picking up the car after SW update. Then I noticed an in-screen message about available communication/entertainment updates, clicked ”update” and after a couple of minutes everything was up and running again. Also opted for ”automatic updates” in the future by ticking a box that appeared in connection with this update process.

Thanks @AxelC , yes, I had already checked for any updates, neither any in the tile "Updates" on the main screen, nor through the notification icon in the lower left corner which is showing "0".

You need to relink your Apple account for music and Podcasts after the update.

Curious, what charger do you have?

Same dealership told me they did not need the charger (it updates itself if online).
I’ve got the Porsche one, they couldn’t update the charger as they needed a tool to update? Anyway I’m still waiting to get the car back should be Monday.

So PMCC (with the touch display) or PMC+ (no display)?

I have the PMCC and had read that a board upgrade could be required on one of the chargers.

The letter I got for the update advised to take it and the dealer said the opposite when I asked.

I’d take it, leave it in boot. Mine updates over WiFi as will yours. Sounds like a board update as Porsche said they needed a tool, but could not order the tool as there is no part number listed.
