This sounds like exactly what my problem is. Did you have a bad communications box as well? If so, was it easily fixed at the dealership or did it take time for them to get the part and fix it?If you don't have LTE and don't have Apple CarPlay (which is not dependent on the LTE connection) – then its very likely to be the communications box that is faulty. Its a known issue on MIB3-based cars like the Taycan.
