For those of you who want to keep the passenger screen on without a passenger in the seat, I thought I'd share a way I found to achieve this after Porsche took away the last hack with the software update. This hack is even easier to do than the one previously found in these forums.
Step 1. Engage the passenger seat belt.
Step 2. Push down on the seat occupancy sensor at the back of the seat for about 2 seconds.
This will turn the passenger screen on. It will stay on for the remainder of the trip.
Rather than drive around with the passenger seat belt engaged, I used a seat belt alarm silencer I bought online. Racing drivers use these when they have a harness fitted in the car rather than the regular seat belt. There are lots of different options online, even some fake branded ones.
The seat occupancy sensor is right at the back of the seat. It's a small area and doesn't require much force to activate it, however you need to push down for about 2 seconds, a quick push won't trigger it.
I trust you'll all be sensible with this hack and not let the passenger screen distract you when you're driving.
