Yes – at least in UK and Ireland. It's called Porsche Vehicle Tracking Service Plus (PVTS+) and is run by Vodafone Automotive. You can activate it in the Porsche Connect Store and your Porsche Centre will need to pair two security tokens/fobs to your car.

My insurance company (CHUBB here in Ireland) also requires a tracker and you can download an insurance cert from My Porsche after its activated to prove to your insurance company that you have an active remote monitored security service.

i have it in Denmark, but can't disconnect it in the App? is it the same for you ?

I can't remember for sure, but you may need to option it on the configurator. Check your sales guy.

This is one of the things you can choose to activate at pick-up. You have 2 fobs, one of which you need to take with you on every journey, but not to store with your keys (or leave in the car!). If you forget then Vodafone ring you to confirm whether you have forgot or if it's been stolen. As stated above, package was priced at £269 inc VAT (December '22) and is a yearly premium

not what I meant ! I have it installed and paying the annual amount for it. but there are 3 options to have inactive when you fx. are on a ferry. to take an example. but for those options I can't use the toggles in the app, can you do that ?

Mine works, albeit it is a little clunky via the app as you can only set it for a couple of days and it's a bit laggy.

As in temporarily turn it off for X hours – if on a ferry, etc? If so, yes that works fine for me via the app.

App toggles available on mine too.

Maybe the 5 0 waiting at the dock is a good thing. Perhaps they'll get your car off the boat first and you can jump the queue.

You can ring the security centre to ask them to do it – I've done that a few times – and they're happy to do it.

Why did I ring them? At the time, the maximum time you could disable via the app was 10 hours. When on a longer ferry between Ireland and France, I'd get the security call centre to set it.

Try them and ask if they can "see" the car?

Yes. I picked up my CT4S yesterday and although I haven't purchased the tracker option, there are two fobs provided that can be used with the PVTS. I think it's about £270 a year. You can get the dealer to set up on day of collection I believe (just check with them), or at any point afterwards (albeit you may need to go back to the dealer for them to pair the fobs).
