New Porsche Recall/"Stop sell" - any details?

Just had the call, collecting next Thursday. No stop sale, only built 2 and a half weeks ago

On behalf of those of us who are waiting patiently (or less patiently)... You lucky bastard! Enjoy your Taycan while the rest of us mull about like Dickensian children asking Porsche "please sir may we have more gruel?"

Honestly, my excitement is matched with equal amounts of guilt at this stage having waited 14 months and been one of those waiting impatiently. Doesn't seem fair, but I'll take it

New to this forum, but my Cross Truism has been sat at the port in Germany since mid April. Still no sign of it and Silverstone haven't been any use. They did send me a little hamper as an apology though. York say they don't have any issues which doesn't stack up if the other garages have cars stuck waiting for Vessels... Is the problem now about to be over and someones going to colour me happy???

Reminds me of last year when customers started receiving 2023 cars with 12V battery whilst over a thousand 2022 cars made earlier were in storage awaiting the production line to have surplus batteries before they completed the 2022 ones

4S stuck in Grimsby was in production around May 19th (received pics 20th May). Dealer called last week as was due for delivery to dealership June 2nd, no info apart from Stop. Ordered Feb22! I learn so much more from this thread and very little from any dealer.

Delivery confirmed to dealership next week, dealer said car was produced after stop issue. Fingers crossed!

Similar position here, my car has been sat at Emden since the start of May.

Are they telling you anything? Mine is at week 7 now at the port I think at the port. I was told it was going to be in Silverstone 1st week of May. I got a note yesterday saying they hoped it would be with the dealer the end of this month…. ?

I’m on week 6 at Emden. I was originally told I’d have the car before the end of May. I’ve now been advised by the end of this month but not holding my breath.

BUT what is the reason for this delay and hesitation?

Have Porsche communicated anything at all?

Or is this another one of Porsche’s Ostrich approach to just bury the head in the sand and hope the storm dies out?

Similar to yours - GTS ST been at port for 7+ weeks and still there. Absolutely no view given as to why or what to expect. Have almost given up asking now and resigned to the fact that it’ll probably be another month or so before I see it - all I can say is that if I behaved like this in my job, I wouldn’t be able to have a Porsche for very long!!!!

They Porsche Ostrich business method is still patent pending. ?

Truth be told more and more businesses are adopting the radio silence approach to customers. Turns out in the days of the internet, there is no messaging you can possibly put out there which will not be subject to criticism and at least some backlash. Bottom line may be that in a long term no message is better than any message. Elon companies started this (note no PR at any of his companies) and their stock is doing ok.

Has anyone in the UK who was subject to the stop sale been past the 50 day mark and taken delivery? If so how long after the 50 day mark did you have to wait? Mine hits the 50 day mark on the 24th.
