Base Taycan range: less? more? or average?

Just got a base model Taycan (love it)! I have the performance battery plus. The dealer recommended an 85% charge overnight. It works out to be around 257 miles. Is that "normal"? I am fine with that number, but I don’t know whether it should be higher or lower. Any and all input from the group is welcome.

Yup, that’s about the same I get on mine in PNW. Assume it’s going down in the winter, but I’ve only had it for a few months.

Is that 257 miles at 85% or are you interpolating to see 257 miles? Either way, I have a MY 22 RWD similarly equipped and haven't seen that sort of mileage.

I have the base model with the SMALL battery and consistently see ~250 (owned for 2 1/2 years)..so I expect your range might actually increase a little with "experience"!

RWD model should have a better range than AWD as it only uses one motor, similarly as AWD ICEs get worse mileage.

Range depends on your driving style, journey route and environment. I get 257 miles at 85% SoC in the summer, with an average 3.7 mi per kW. In the winter, that drops.

3.7mi/kW how do you get that? What are your tires? I have 2.7mi/kW and on a good day 2.9mi/kW. Or is the American mile larger than an British one?

not sure my input would add anything constructive:
My RWD with regular battery at 85% is around 190 miles.
My car is less a month new.

85% charge gave me 355Km/220 miles

My base '22 with mission-e tires gets about 205 miles full range (100%) with smaller battery and typically city spirited driving.

If you drive highways...anything over 70mph will detract more as you go faster from your mpg as wind resistance plays a large part! I saw about 35% worse mileage as I exceeded (alot) posted limits.

MY 22 CT4 gets 258 at 100% charge consistently. I do have the upgraded batteries.
