Bottomed out on a raised bumped in the parking lot with 4 people in the car. Usually pretty good about lifting prior to bumps but this one was flat and then slanted down. Caught the jack stand block which was the lowest point of the car and ripped a big hole in the sideskirt. Other side just a minor crack in the skirt. Just a word of caution and glad there wasn’t much damage to other areas.

Ahhhhh heartbreaking :( Are you able to get it repaired?
The loud crack noise was definitely painful as the jack stand piece broke off. Yes working with the insurance company for the claim as we speak. Apparently it’s an easy fix. Here’s more info for future reference if anyone else runs into the same problem.

Pelicanparts or suncoast has a pretty good catalogue.

Did you raise your car to pass the ramp?

I thought I would pass without raising the car. Bad judgement because the ramp slants down after passing and caught the jack stand.
Good lesson learned and wanted to remind others not to make the same mistake.

And I will take this advise very seriously, thanks.
The typical bump installed privately with no respect to the minimum width required by the legislation.

I’ve had the same type of thing happened to me but it was just a mild scrape on the underside. From now on I make sure that I am in high setting whenever I head into a parking lot with speed bumps.

Sorry for your damage and glad to hear it seems a simple enough repair. Can you add what suspension height you were in at the time?

I did the same thing a few months ago..In my case I didn't realize I was on the low chassis setting.
I bought the replacement parts from Suncoast, but got stymied when attempting to disassemble the wheel well parts. The jack block just pops in, but you need to use a jack to force it in....I had the Porsche tech at the dealer do it. Now I always check to be sure I am in normal height, unless on the highway, where the low setting reduces drag.

Yes I was also contemplating just getting the block and not fixing the tear. However, I’m a bit anal and the more I saw it the more I felt the car was not in pristine condition and decide to do a full fix of both side skirts and all the scratched protection layers that go over the battery.

this happened to mine. Not sure how
Ouch! But I did notice right rear side cover being lower than the left. It’s an underbody aero piece. Apparently it can get caught especially when you’re going into an underground parking lot that has a breaking slant and the point of the concrete catches it slightly. Sometimes parking stops or bars can also catch it if you reverse park like I do.
