I saw no signage though and it was only my daughter looking for a picture on the phone that made me think we may have spotted it

All too often the case with many rapid charging hubs, almost invisible unless you know they're there! More signage needed.

Quite like the Fastned "roofs" for this reason pretty distinctive and creative at the same time. They also do serve a purpose (keeping the rain and sun off) together with some limited solar capability.

They also happen to be on PCS....

Bodmin opened this afternoon.



The IONITY app was still a bit 'confused' last time I checked it, but other reliable sources of live data like ChargeFinder are correctly displaying live OCPI data for the site…

Not sure there is much more information in this press release, but planning to go from 186 to 700 points before the end of the year seems ambitious, even with the list in this thread so far

I’ve been a bit neglectful of this thread and not quite kept it up to date.

As well as the new IONITY tariffs announced in the last week of May, the majority of their Village Hotels sites have now had planning approval. With a few knockbacks (both Leeds sites, twice now).

I’ll do an OP update with all the links etc tonight.

I finally hit 260 kW at the weekend for a rare stop at Ionity Perth for a volt and bolt. 12 miles / minute is f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s, 15 mins done.

OP now updated with latest sites, approved, in construction and in planning:

• Lewes, opened on 23 May
• Bristol and Hull, Village Hotel sites are now on the IONITY construction tracker
• A bunch of Village Hotels sites now have planning approved. About 11 are awaiting a decision. 2 sites have been refused (Leeds North & Leeds South). 2 Village sites have ben withdrawn by IONITY (Edinburgh and Solihull). 4 Village site the planning status is unknown (Farnborough, Manchester Ashton, Portsmouth and Southampton Eastleigh)
