I am sure you can dig through the press releases to find the motor sizes and inverter amps. However, from the press release the rear motor is from the 4S and not from the Turbo.

"The rear motor size is the same as the 4S, at 358 mm"

My current 2023 GTS ST cost ~$190K new (it came pretty loaded), while I paid ~$125K used (1 prior owner, 1,5 years, 13.7K miles, 96% SoH); a similarly configured new 2025 GTS ST (some options skipped, some options added) will cost ~$213K (https://porsche-code.com/PS7SAKH8), so as usual Porsche has hiked up the price a bit. Unlike e.g. the Cayman GTS 4.0 (I had mine for three years and sold it this summer for what I paid for it new!), the Taycans drop so much in value during the first year or two so I think I will probably keep my current GTS (with a Redshift tune on it :–) and then switch to a used J1.2 GTS in a couple of years instead...
How’s the Redshift tune working out for your? Do you actually see any difference?

Yep! - 2022 Porsche Taycan GTS Sedan Press Release

To save you a click - "while accelerating both variants from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds."
Thanks. I was thinking of the 0-62mph time rather than 0-60.

Regarding your initial post, you were mixing the 0-60 mph and 0-62 mph times.

So, the J1.2 GTS compared with the J1 GTS is:

0-60mph

3.5 to 3.1 secs.

0-62 mph:

3.7 to 3.3 secs.

I seem to recall seeing 0-60mph as 3.5 and 0-62mph (100km/h) as 3.7.
Thanks.

After three and a half years and just 16,000 miles I regret to confirm this has been the most unreliable car I’ve ever owned. Also the most expensive with worst depreciation.

Never again !

Same thoughts here. Will let 2025s go three years old before I make the jump

They are simply sticking to form and mirroring the Panamera line up more or less.

Taycan 4 with the right spec is probably the smart person's choice especially if sub £100K.

If anything the RWD should be axed imho.
I'd love to know the base price of the Taycan 4, I'm assuming a little less than a cross turismo, minus performance battery plus.

Budget dependant I'd be interested as power to all 4 wheels would help in the winter (i know winter tyres are > than 4wd, but my work don't include winter tyres).

There isn't a T4 saloon and only in CT format.

UK price £96K and PB+ is standard. If there ever is a saloon then drop £1.5K of the CT price and you'll be there.

I suspect the PB will be dropped across the range and PB+ will be standard - range matters A LOT for most buyers.

I don't have (and never have had) winter tyres and been through 3 winters in a Taycan 4S and GTS ST - the weight of these cars help, recoup helps to slow the car without actual braking, AWD is a must, never got stuck (deep snow included - air suspension to raise the car is your friend).

Not condoning the absence of winter tyres.

The press release shows a Taycan 4 saloon no? The 2 articles ive seen seem to.

That's good to know about driving in the snow. I've had a couple of RWD cars that were impossible in the snow until I put on winter tyres.

Yeah, it's quite expensive new — the base price for the 2025 GTS ST in Sweden is appr. USD 157K, but with all the "necessary" factory options it's USD 190K... I think two or three years on that spec. will do wonders for the price (for the second owner, that is :–).
