Who is this for? They explained to Jay Leno that this is basically a limo during a work day that someone will drive you to work and a getaway car for the weekend to drive yourself for someone living in New York. Whoever that is, will not care about depreciation, or weight of 6,610lbs, or range of 303 miles estimated, or 100+ 3D printed parts. Obviously, an alternative to the Rolls Spectre that Jay Leno actually bought for himself.

I honestly don’t understand this car. It’s really ugly (IMO), costs so much that nobody will buy it, not to mention the unfathomable depreciation. I mean, who would buy this over a Rolls Royce, Maybach, or Bentley? The bespoke experience sounds nice, but I’m sorry Caddy, you’re not playin’ in the space.

It is true about the really rich do not care about depreciation. I have a Ferrari FF with a sticker over 400K (and that was 2012) and I bought it for 120K with 12k miles on it! And yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but it looks like they used their blind designer. No disrespect intended to the blind! Of course, I shouldn't talk, the nick name of the FF is "clown shoe" because of its shape!

I like the point by the EE from the video I posted earlier, who brought up that anyone spending this kind of money on a car, should be expecting something special as far as the drive train, this also goes for the Rolls. Both use conventional drive trains and boring 400V battery tech from the company parts bins, Rolls used BWM electric drive system, and Caddy uses GM motors used in every other electric models that they sell. That explains that both have underwhelming performance and range, meaning that there is nothing special on the motor tech side or battery tech side. I think they bet on impressing their customers on the opulence side and skip the tech making them outdated on arrival.
