Hi All

A quick question, I bought a Taycan around a month ago, and during that process it went to a Porsche for a health check and all recalls were completed at this point. Now obviously ARB6 campaign can't be completed as yet. I have been using the MyPorsche app for the past month, and then today, there is now an orange warning triangle in the app about ARB6 sating I need to book a service. Now it just so happens that I put a private number plate on the car this morning and made the relevant change on the DVLA website. Do you think these two things are related at all? I have emailed my local Porsche centre as the car is booked in for some work in August anyway, but I thought I might check here just in case anyone else is seeing this warning triangle in the app, or has experience of anything happening when they changed the number plate of their car.

Hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday weekend.

I got the orange warning triangle today as well, regarding ARB6. I put a private plate on over a month ago (when I bought it) and informed Porsche. I would be surprised if the two were linked.

Does this perhaps mean the software is ready to help monitor?

This is what I thought. I will phone the service department tomorrow and find out. Being a Bank Holiday weekend I may not get a response, but I will post what they say when I get some information.

I honestly don’t know. My guess is probably not, but I suppose it depends if anyone else has seen this in their myPorsche app and if so how long ago.

I have emailed my local Porsche service centre, but I doubt I’ll hear anything now until Tuesday. I’ll update once I hear back from them.

In the meantime if anyone else has seen this in their app it would be great if they could let me know.

Had it for a couple of days now. Probably because I can’t be bothered to book the car in for it’s ARB6 battery check. Clicking the orange triangle in the app leads to this …

Orange triangle also in my app yeaterday. ARB6 was on the list of outstanding campaigns that the car was in OPC for in March prior me taking ownership, my assumption was it’s now due its 60’day check, although I had thought Porsche were monitoring the car remotely meaning a visit wouldn’t be needed.

In any case I used app to schedule service for end of June as I also want to put it on warranty so looking to combine ARB6 visit with 111 point check. As others have said, long weekend so no bookings confirmed by Porsche Centre.

Unrelated I'd say - VIN is the key - and could just be coincidental.

I had the Triangle in the App as well, sightly different message though. I'm already booked in for this at Porsche.

Interesting @Paul S, that’s the ARB6 description for the campaigns apparently actioned on my car in March.

I thought the BMCe reprogramming bit could be the remote monitoring that Porsche would then be able to do, but seems not.

Not sure about the app as I don't pay the connect fee but I got an ARB6 letter last week. I spoke to the dealer about it and they said the car hadn't reported the battery data since mid Feb so that was the reason the letter was sent. So it seems ARB6 gets triggered if the car isn't checking in and sending the battery data.

Ah ok, thank you. I’ll see what the service centre says, but sounds like I will need to take it in to get checked.
