I was able to successfully charge my 2024 Taycan 4S CT at Tesla supercharger on Pecos Road in Chandler AZ on first attempt. I used the official Porsche NACs to CCS adapter which I purchased from my local dealer. My beginning state of charge was 80%, so I was only able to achieve 49 Kw charge rate. The cable on the white Tesla cabinet was long enough so that I didn't have to pull in on the diagonal and occupy two spots. I found this location using the Tesla App. Apparently, the white Supercharger cabinets are V4. So that might explain the adequate cable length.

Encouraging first experiment with Tesla Supercharging.

If you don’t have the 150kW/400v buy-up option, that is the maximum rate you will get on 400v superchargers.

Just charged at a Buc ee's. Selecting charging locations in navigation did not show any Tesla locations. Typing in "Tesla Supercharges" produced a nice list. Selecting a Tesla charger this way did not initiate preheating of the battery. Arrived at 55% with the battery at 80 degrees. The bumper cleared the curb and there were no bollards in front of the cabinet so I was able to connect with the car straight and centered in the spot. Barely. You have to get quite close to the V3 cabinet to reach. Started charging at 95 kW which slowly went up to 100 kW as the battery warmed. Still at 100 kW when I unplugged at 75%. Used the Lectron adapter which seemed to have perfect mechanical connections and safety locks. So no Porsche branded unit in stock? The Lectron works and looks to be identical.

Does your vehicle have the 150KW/400 V upgrade option?
Certainly. On a J1.1 if you don't have that option you are limited to 50kW charging speeds. With the 150 kW option max speed on a Tesla charger is going to be in the 140 kW range if the battery is hot. I peaked at 100 due to the relatively cool battery.

8 months? I’d try my luck at the Porsche stealership.
Probably US allocation or Tariff issue. Can still order in Canada. No idea when it will ship though. I ordered mine on Saturday right after reading this thread.

Call your local dealership as they received shipment today. My local dealer had 70+ in stock. Picked one up during lunch.

Yes it could be a problem.
I believe Tesla has been working on making it better, but you still may encounter a V3 SC that doesn’t reach by parking straight in.
Best chances are to put the air suspension up and bring the nose of the car over the curb and within inches of the charger cabinet.
