11th Hour Delay in Delivery, by a Month!!

Hello everyone,
I am in the same scenario and hoping for a similar outcome.
My car cleared port processing on 5/18 in Baltimore. Initial delivery estimate of 5/21. Delivery delayed and now estimated as 7/2. Confirmed with dealer this is related to the chip shortage.

My optimistic nature has me planning to take delivery mid June...

Our cars were on the same ship - Siem Confucius. Moored in Jacksonville yesterday and TYD showing dealer delivery 5/28. Dealer says no red flags - fingers crossed.....

TYD changed by 4 weeks the night before posted delivery for me (5/7 to 6/4).

My dealer emailed me last week that the car was released for transport. We talked yesterday and he said it’s supposed to be loaded today and be at the dealer on Thurs or Friday, so a 3 week delay total.
TYD still says 6/4...

I would stay in touch with your dealer more than TYD if it does end up getting delayed.

Mine was actually on the RCC Classic.
I was disappointed I was not informed of the delay prior to my car arriving in the US. It seems we could have been warned of this.
I will keep my fingers crossed that yours is not delayed.

Even though it’s stating 7/2 you still might get it before that time. My date was pushed out to 6/11 I got it 5/21. Keep your fingers and toes crossed. Good luck.

My TYD varied wildly from a 6/25 delivery to 5/21 delivery just while on GoodWood on way over Atlantic.

I took delivery today (actually early, orig. estimate was 6/11... lock 3/15, build 4/12-19, Emden 4/20, Goodwood 4/24, Houston 5/13, TPMS recall at port 10 days to 5/23, arrived dealer 5/27).

Driving to pickup I was surprised on how empty the Porsche, Audi, Jaguar lots were compared to March when I ordered. Dealer said the shortages have gotten so bad if you order a Taycan today expect delivery Jan. 2022.

Ughh.. my Taycan has been sitting under Production status for over a month now. They just changed the delivery date to another 3 extra weeks. What a shame. It is the third delivery date change. Let's see what happen.

Damn! Guess I got lucky ordering April 1. Delivery 5/29.

I did! Saturday May 29th. 20 days from Emden to dealer - not bad.
