Hi Guys, after the new PCM Update that includes the automatic autoregeneration for the Battery suddenly turns off and computer shows autorecuperation mode not avaliable. This is in range mode and when I took my feet to stop or reduce. Any comments?
I feel a little bit disappointed, a lots of issues Porsche can't fix.

** Correction **
Recuperation should be (not, not as I mentioned originally) available in Range Mode by design. Auto regen is not available in Sport mode.

Sometimes auto recup fails due to reflections, bright light or no vehicle in front to follow.

Range is extended via coasting as it works out more efficient than overrun recuperation (manual or auto) when in Range Drive Mode.

Recuperation remains available from braking.

Is that a change with the update?

I can select different overrun recuperation modes in range mode.

I was having this issue in Normal and Sport modes…particularly if I went over a speed bump or railroad tracks. I took it in, they had it over a week, and basically said it’s acting as it should. I almost forget to turn it on now since recuperation is doing its thing on its own. Strangely, since I had the ANA6 update, I haven’t seen it turn itself off….maybe something in the PCM got corrected with this update.

A lot
In the uPdate, if you select auto, the auto regen will stay on, whatever the drive mode.
(I don't know if that means it stays on when you switch the car off though).

If auto regen isn't working properly it may have to do with the cameras not working properly (like the ACC, LKA, traffic sign recognition and matrix lightning work).

I've not had the update (this coming Wednesday) yet.

Actually I think I've got this wrong and will correct my post (sorry) - overrun recup is available in Range mode but disabled when cruise control is active (re-engages when cruise is cancelled). Further, auto recup is not available in Sport mode.

I'm not sure what happens post uPdate but have read the the setting is remembered after power off.

Overrun recup wouldn’t make any sense in cruise control because the car is already in control of the speed if you aren’t pressing the accelerator.

Auto recup is available in sport mode on my car.

Could be a misprint in the PGTK or a software update change since printed. Refers to PSM Sport mode and not drive mode.

Cruise does the neat trick of braking recuperation to maintain speed.

Ok. I was talking about drive mode as we were also talking about range mode.

No, it doesn’t stay on when car is switched off.
Also, before uPdate, you have to set it on every time when you change mode.

Nope. You have to set regen when you start the car.

Yes it is, at least in my car (MY20 pre-uPdate).
It's always available in every mode unless you use ACC or switch drive modes.
After the uPdate it'll stay on when switching drive modes (unless you use ACC of course).

Yeah I think there's a distinction between drive mode and PSM mode which adds a little confusion.

Recup (manual) is on by default in drive mode Sport.
