Automatic locking

Is there a way for the car to lock automatically? similar to the way it unlocks? Or do I have to use a key fob?

Not that I'm aware of. After closing all the doors, press the little indentation on any of the door handles to securely lock your Taycan.

If you walk away from your Taycan without doing this, the door handles will retract but the car won't lock.

Securely locking your Taycan is recommended so that the software can re-initialize the next time you drive. I always lock mine, even when it's in my locked garage.

Nope.

Remote locking possible via the My Porsche App. Requires a good cell connection and some patience to operate.
