after all I would really like to understand how and where this bullshit with 7kW charging originated?! Usually there is a very tiny part of truth - may be misunderstood by non technical fellows - in such a wild story.

My guess is it it probably started with the issue with 20KW 3 phase chargers in Europe, which had problems when charging on single phase 7KW (hence the Porsche recommendation to limit to 6KW on single phase). Everything after that was probably a hypothetical worst case scenario by some engineer which someone turned into "this actually happened" story.

I'm frankly surprised they didn't. He had absolutely nothing to substantiate his claims, and even did a followup video where he essentially said "It's true because I believe it to be true."
