I had the same message. I forwarded it to my local dealership asking for clarification, and as yet haven’t received any.

My email to the dealership said “Please see attached safety recall notice that I just received. Please advise - is it for PCM reprogramming or oil filler mechanism?”

I received the response “Thank you for this. I will make sure this is done ready for collection”.

What I didn’t mention is that my car is at the dealership having the Air Conditioning condenser fan replaced (again). The picture shows the technician pointing to the seized fan which is located on the front driver’s side.

Yep, I have weird recall too. I must say Porsche are "amateur hour" when it comes to communications. It's probably a mistake - or the PCM (which is fine) or perhaps the oil filler cap.
Absolutely amazing.

Could it be the brake fluid filler cap under the hood?

For me – the possible impact – is the most informative aspect of this.

WPN8 is a PCM update, as noted elsewhere in the forum. It has nothing to do with oil filler caps, which an EV does not have.

Obviously, some wires got crossed here, and the wrong description got paired with the WPN8 campaign.
