Who will receive the first MY23?

Given all that has happened this year, I am very curious to see who will be the first to check-in with the first MY23 delivery. Also curious as to whether the MY23 deliveries will occur while many are still waiting for their MY22.

I suspect that it would hard for Porsche to get all of the MY22’s delivered before the MY23 begins delivery but if they are significantly out of sequence, that could be annoying.

but SCHEDULED 'production complete' is meaningless - even actual rolling off the production line is not 'production complete' if you count adding an essential battery as part of 'production' (which I do) -

then there is the shipping backlog... etc etc etc.

I have a '23 CT4 scheduled to hit the dealership in the eastern us on 11/4. The VIN has a lot of zero's in it. So likely is a very early 23. How does the VIN change for the new MY?

The tenth byte is the MY indicator: "N" for MY22, "P" for MY23. At list for EU cars, but I think it's a worldwide standard.

Also, you can extract very detailed info from you vin (prod date, specs, etc...), using an online service (I have used vinanalytics.com for 12usd).

I would take a cracked but waterproof Pano as 'deliverable' - but no 12v means it would just be a nice shed to sit in - a step too far for me! (just)...
