I generally dont like decals but this is proof that they can work well when tied together with the right options. As stated above, the car has a retro style with both the color and wheels that harken back to a time when decals on your sporty car were the thing to have.

When I saw the title of the thread I was already thinking ‘no’, but that picture is awesome. Old school color, old school decals. Do it!
Not fan of the wheels, but it helps the retro look you’re going for

If I were from the Netherlands, I would definitely go with the Gulf Porsche orange stripe for that color car. My God man, you could go retro and support the oranges at the same time!

Gulf Orange Striping is nice but if I am contributing to the ridiculous orange craziness by doing so, then surely not

There’s other, better precedent.

In the case of the OP, I don’t think it detracts from the car, but I don’t think it adds anything either. I can go either way.
