TYD is showing our CT4 has been in Emden since Friday and is assigned to SFL Conductor. Delivery time went from 55 days left to 23 days!!!!
Scheduled to be at the dealer on 12/10. Nice to see we will have the car in less then 60 days from time of order.

Does TYD still show dealer arrival of 12/10 for your car? TYD showed 12/10 for mine, too, at same time as your post. Mine now shows 1/7.

I am seeing the same thing in TYD for my CT4. I started today with a new, 7 days earlier delivery date of 12/17, with SFL conductor (dest Baltimore) as assigned vessel.

A few hours later and I show SFL conductor still but delivery shows 1/7 now. This doesn’t make a whole lot of sense knowing that SFL conductor is scheduled to arrive in Baltimore well before that. I am feeling pretty optimistic at this point I will take delivery this year yet. Guessing another update tomorrow or soon!

Can anybody tell me typically how long transit takes from car showing at Port of Emden to Port of Benecia, California typically and then on to dealer, barring any holdups with chips or other stop sales at the Port?
Hoping for a long shot to possibly make the end of the year even though I know it's not likely.

From what I can tell from Emden to Benecia is 4 to 5 weeks roughly
Then in port ranging from days to weeks depending on updates or missing bits on the car. From port to dealer depends on distance but I would estimate 1to 4 days.

So as of this morning Nov 18, whilst my 'dealer arrival' date has indeed changed on TYD from Dec 10 to Dec 24 the car is still showing as arriving at the port of Houston on Dec 10. It also shows port processing as this same date etc. It is enroute to my dealer on Dec 17 and then the new date added saying at dealership on the 24th. So if the same ship schedule then one of our dates has to be wrong !

However still a moving target and need to wait until at least tomorrow to see if the SFL Conductor stays on schedule in respect departing Emden.

Note also that MarineTraffic's info on the Conductor (albeit only an estimate) is predicting a Nov 27th arrival in Halifax vs prior posted schedule by PWL of a Nov 29th arrival:

Another tracking site with Emden arrival and predicted Halifax arrival dates - the same as of now. Note the change in draught as she continues to get loaded - max. draught is 10.5 m (min 1.4 and currently 9.5):

TYD says Jan 21st, but dealer shows Jan 7th, which TYD has also intermittently shown.
Sounds like people say dealer info is usually more likely, so the 7th kinds jibes with what you are saying too.
Maybe will make it onto SFL Conductor?

Latest schedule does not show the Conductor sailing to the west coast in December - it terminates in Veracruz, Mexico - but I may be missing something there - are you referencing a different Jan schedule?

Next boat to the west coast leaves on 11/20 - Glovis Supreme. It's due into SD on 12/20 and Benicia on 12/22.

East/gulf coast boats typically do not go to the west coast.

Pic of a car carrier (at right - almost missed it so bit of a distal view ), heading on to Veracruz, Mexico from Houston Port - view from a Bayport terminal webcam which will allow me to see the Conductor sail by on it's way to the VW Group's car yard in December Can't find any active cam's of the Emden car loading areas as yet.

Cam located a Bayport terminal (right side of image) where a separate auto processing facility exists in the Houston Bay area:

My car took a little more than 3 wks transit time from Port of Emden to Port of Benicia, and was at the port about 3 wks until it was shipped by truck to my destination dealership (PEC-LA).

However another Taycan owner car was on the same ship as mine and lives in the Bay Area, his car arrived at his dealership within a week of landing at Port.

After my CT4 delivery was moved back to January, I'm pleasantly surprised that my car reached Emden on 11/16. Hoping that Glovis Supreme is a possibility, but don't want to get my hopes up. TYD still showing 12/10 ship out of Emden. We will see.

Good work on locating live cams at Houston. How about live cams in Baltimore port? Surely you want to see SFL Conductor departing Baltimore, heading for Houston.

You can Google Buoy's and cams all along Chesapeake Bay but most seem out of date/inactive or are for inner harbors non-commercial interest etc. - have not dug that deep , but looks a bit thin!
