The phone app for MarineTraffic offers a 99c 24 hour sat tracking for one ship! - new feature I think but great option - hence why I am seeing the sat position of the Conductor.

This is excellent news as clearly the Car Carriers are not being currently held up at Houston Port - fingers crossed same for the SFL Conductor on Dec 10th.

Yes, it is good news for Houston port car delivery. My understanding is that vessels depicted in red are carrying something that will explode, like gas or oil.

SIEM CICERO in HOUSTON PORT

Kinda cool feature I had not noticed before but myShipTracking (and prob others) actually show the real time (albeit calculated between AIS data pts) continuous progress of a ship when you zoom in far enough - like watching from a drone

EDIT: Just checked and actually MarineTraffic does not this.

Still of the level of zoom needed to see the 'real time' motion:

2.5 hrs later and the Cicero is getting close to her dock at the Houston Autoport - good dry run for the Conductor

Heading into a crosswind of 15-20 knots - forward speed averaging 15-17 knots.

Heading on to her berth - about to pass under Houston's 610 Loop - some ghost' ships turning in the Turning Basin - myShipTracking.com lag error - that or she has a serious blockage ahead . Being tracked by the Tug Harris II.

You could be standing over there on Brady's Island looking at her come in - what possible better things have you got to be doing right now

Down to 2 knots and an additional tug the Kendall Ayse coming to help guide her in.

Curiously the synchronous view in MarineTraffic shows all berths at the AutoPort as occupied and Cicero presumably out of position or perhaps being temporarily moored to await an open berth? Def odd how the ship data not matching between apps - TBH I tend to trust MT more so suspect a truer picture and would explain the almost dead stop past the 610 bridge.

I guess the obvious alternative is that she can use her current positio/berth to unload ...I have not checked the Port Auth. berth assigned to her.
