December 2021 Delivery

On Dec 2: TYD estimated dates for my car entering port channel, entry port, and port processing were all Dec 24. Dealer delivery was Jan 7.
Shipping schedule said Baltimore port Dec. 3.
Ship arrived, off-loaded, and departed Baltimore on Dec. 2.
After 11 pm on Dec 3, TYD actual date for port processing was Dec 3 and Dealer delivery estimated Dec. 10.
You don't have to gamble much.

Ironically after so few updates over many months, every time I refresh TYD, it updates the ship position to the exact mile distance from me. Maybe the calls to the Porsche hotline y’all made had an impact?

Must be missing something here - where exactly are you seeing the ships physical position in TYD and a mileage left on it's voyage? Always done this via ship tracking apps - never seen that detail in TYD - something new here?

PS: my TYD view normally shows time in days to a milestone and/or distance only from port to dealer

Cape Town Highway on way to Jax. Just exiting Bay under bridge. ETA on Monday morning. May get get my car by next Saturday.

Its great we are all getting our cars before the end of the month.

Roughly 500+ miles to the turn into the Gulf of Mexico

Has been steady now at 18 knots (20.7 mph) so a day+ voyage at that speed but of course a lot of traffic off Miami will likely result in variable speeds.

Ok, Porsche wants to get these cars out the door. Dealer called this morning and said the truck with my wife''s CT showed up. Should be sending pictures over later today, and we will be taking delivery this week.

So one SFL Conductor car at the dealer.

And TYD says the car is still in port.....

The “distance to dealer” is updating in real time since Thursday morning. Before that it stated “233 miles” which is the distance from Houston port to Dallas dealership.

In MD, just south of Baltimore, ~20 miles from the port. Dealer is ~30 miles from the port.

Ignore dates on TYD once it shows your car is assigned to a vessel. After that point, use the shipping schedules. TYD dates after Emden port arrival are moved out automatically 2 weeks or more.
