At this point the Asteria Leader's cars have been sitting at the port for over a week. While I'm sure the New Years holiday is partially to blame, it's not very helpful that the only intel we have at this point are very vague and unspecific reasons for the delay.

I don't have a solution or real point to this, just posting to vent somewhere... lol.
I was told they can’t get a Trucker and they are just short of staff. i am now figuring TYD is finally right and I won’t see any movement until next week.

You were told "no trucks" and another post was "quality issues" (me too). I am not sure you can believe what you are told.

I don’t- I think it’s a combination of factors. Unfortunately I don’t know what are the factors.

At least we're all in the same boat (har har, get it)

On the bright side, this delay has given me more time to get prepared for the car's arrival (get the best finance rate from lenders, shop around for PPF / tint, research the apps we'll need to install, etc.)

curious are you finding rates well below what Porsche offers? Can you share details?

My SA said something like "you definitely qualify for our very best 2.74% rate through Porsche financial" but I haven't actually talked with anyone in the finance department there yet, so keeping the door open. The lowest I've found so far has been through my auto insurer, USAA, who offered me 2.29%. If the dealer's financing can't beat that, I'll just go with them.

Some folks on another thread here were talking about how they got 2.29% through BofA, plus an even lower rate after discounts for being already being a client/member. But I don't bank with them, so that's probably why the rate they offered me was not the best.

I got 2.29% though BofA. Give them a look. My rate expires in 30 days from 12/12 though so I'm beginning to push it. I can't do anything until my dealer gets invoiced...

1.89% from Chase (they hold our mortgage). Easy online application process. But still NO CAR.

Yeah, my car is at the port in Jacksonville and has a "Quality Action" per my SA and supported by a screenshot of their system. This could be TPMS, software etc., I'm not sure. I don't think my SA knows exactly what it is. I am just playing the waiting game now hoping that it is resolved and it gets release for transport.

When did your car arrive in FL? And, for laughs, how many times per day are you checking TYD?

I'm going to San Diego on the 15th for a short weekend getaway. Was really looking forward to driving the Taycan down, but at this rate maybe I should look into getting visitation with it at the port prison.
