Delivery Delays

Where are you guys getting your tracking information? I've asked a coupe of people at my dealer about it (mentioning the likes of this thread and explaining it's not the US "Track My Dream" thing) and neither of them knew about it.

Is it something you can register on the My Porsche App which is little information as your order number or is chat about "Phase 2" and "Phase 3" only for when after you've been given a build slot?

I'm seeing mention of the Porsche Experience Days too. That's not been mentioned to me at all since we put our deposit down last November. Is that similar and will be offered when a build slot is confirmed too?

My dealer in Bristol told me my car will be with them tomorrow, and I can collect next week.

Porsche GB advised me that my SA could set it up on My Porsche "once the production process has started at the factory". It was started by the beginning of this week and I'm still waiting for the notification my SA tells me I'll get.

Silverstone EC have access to all GB orders, so if your dealer has input your order to the Porsche system, you should be OK to phone the EC to get booked in. Invitations seem to be driven by availability of suitable models rather than how far you've progressed from order to delivery.

Indeed- in fact I've now heard that the car is built and on its way ...I've still never had any tracking via the App

Porsche App has been delayed the whole way through. I am picking up Monday and I still haven't moved to Stage 5 (final steps before delivery)

If I'm not in final steps before delivery having paid for the car in full, scheduled handover and set up insurance I am not sure when I will be ?

Looks identical to mine. Should be heading towards Bournemouth right now. SA has booked me in for a Thursday pickup. Hope they don’t divert it to you ?

Ha, we even both have the same bike in the garage! Jealous of those headlights and still wishing I went for electric charging port cover though.

Also, how do you have so much more white on those Mission E's?

Mine is already in Reading, getting shined and polished ready for me to collect Monday, could be pretty cool to meet up and have a photo of them side by side once you collect, seeing as they look almost identical

Don’t be too jealous of the matrix headlights… they got ‘de-optioned’ when I locked the build in January, due to chip shortage. Suspect that makes our cars look even more identical ! Here’s the post ‘lock’ photo… should’ve posted the correct one. Strange on those wheels though… no idea why they showed so white as I didn’t change any other options other than a little body kit when I locked the build… and the wheels look correct in this image

Yeah, mine went from nothing to stage 4 - "produced" in one day!

Mines a 4S. So did you pick yours up today ? I got the dreaded update from my SA saying it didn’t make Fridays boat so I’m probably next week now. 2.5 weeks sat at Emden already is pretty annoying. Hope you still took delivery today !
