Any experience with this fault code?

Porsche Taycan Electrical System Error IMG_4412
I've had this problem numerous times. The car won't move—no idea how to reset.

Eventually, after some time, it will start again (reset/re-boot)

Brought to the dealer and diagnostics provide no answers about the problem, or that there is a problem.

I'm afraid of getting stuck in Timbuctu, calling a flatbed for the car.

They need to or you need to rebalance the batteries. Unfortunately these codes do not pop up until you do that. Run the car down to under 20% battery. Let it sit for at least 12 hours then charge back up to a 100% on a level 2 charger.

Your solution sounds odd.
Curious why I get zero advice from Porsche NA or local dealer other than “tow the car in”

if you are correct, deeply troubling no guidance whatsoever from Porsche about battery maintenance- maybe a liability issue?

Not supposed to tow Taycans either I believe - flatbed only!

Its not a solution it will just trigger the code. This will not fix your car it will just let the dealer see the error. No clue as to why Porsche has done this and why your shop doesnt know they need to do this.

Simple answer to this - $$$, they get to charge you a diagnostic fee
