Service costs were always the bummer of Porsche ownership, but we paid them because we loved the cars so much.

The cheap service on the Taycan is one of the key benefits, to me.

Wow that's yhe cheapest I've seen. Was it full 20k miles service and I assume excluding drain chanel checks and no brake fluid change?

Also the PRG location with the most questionable approach to customer service (front office, that is). Gladly taking my business elsewhere going forward.

I found the front office approach was total and utter lack of interest in even speaking to customers. No phone calls returned, and don't even come out of their glass offices to see if they can help the 1 customer in the showroom! Irritating as they're very very local, but ended having to go in to town to get some good customer service.

In their defence, their service department did turnaround the dreaded heater failure within a week, albeit requiring it to come in via Porsche assistance, and were very professional.

Someone did collate all of the different service prices quoted by main dealers on another thread, and from memory they ranged from £300 odd to over £1k. Crazy.

710 Swiss Francs here in Zurich for exactly the same on a 4S.

I was astonished that Porsche of Irvine charged $1100 and also tried to upsell me to a $2400 "inspection."

That is really unbelievable.

Saw the thread initially detailing the range of service costs for my 1st Tycan service. On making several calls was told Porsche GB had instructed all dealers to charge the same. I paid £800 in the end. They failed to even look at my tracker which had not been paired properly and were very evasive, telling me to go back to supplying dealer, even though car was under warranty and was supplied by the same franchised group. Was all resolved by Porsche GB FOC with an apology. I will not be using that dealer again for purchase or service.

no brake fluid - said this is a 2 yr interval - am just over 1 year. but tbh other than a track day, I doubt the brakes have been used at all. always astonishes me when I use our iron and fallout remover that turns purple as it reacts with iron particles and on normal cars the wheels are completely purple as it does its thing that there is barely a trace of purple when I clean the taycan's wheels.

I thought Taycan doesn't require service until the 2 year one. At least that is what my user's manual and Porsche phone app says,
