After about 6 months of admiring this car from a far, I decided this was going to be my next car. Then the disappointment set in, when I started to realize that it would take several months, if lucky, to get an allocation. Then another 8-10 months for the car to be built, shipped, etc... Being very particular about the specs that I wanted, I doubted that I'd find something 'close to new' with everything that I wanted. I was also set on Ice Grey Metallic or Black. Well, I found this car that had about 90% of my specs but was Dolomite Silver. But the more that I looked at it, the more the color grew on me and, after 3 weeks, I'm very happy with it. It's a 2022, with 3k miles.

My question is about the deal that I got. They were basically asking full MSRP (120k) and I offered 110k. They accepted, with no negotiation. I've never had that happen before and I felt like I probably left some money on the table. Build sheet attached.

Regardless, I'm still happy w/ no regrets.

If I could do it all over again I would have loved to be in your position. The waiting has been painful, frustrating, poor communication from Porsche, etc…
You bought a car with most of your specs and you didn’t have to wait. Plus you got a good deal. You should have no regrets. BTW still waiting for the new car and it’s been almost 1 year…

Congrats! She’s a beaut and it seems like you got a great deal. Perhaps you also lucked-out because your dealer may have been more eager to sell for any reasonable offer knowing that a RWD model would be a tougher sell to most of their customers with winter looming in Ohio.

Your Taycan is beautiful. My Taycan is on the Sunshine Ace. It should arrive at my dealership around 25 November. This should be a very good holiday season for me.

Not a bad spec. It includes several cosmetic items that are harder to get a return on the cost but if they are the kinds of things that you would have purchased or have come to like then you aren’t in as bad of a position as some that have purchased used at a premium. Hopefully your enjoyment from driving causes you to forget the cost (that is what I am hoping for on my MSRP Taycan which I have been anticipating for the past 10 months and counting). Enjoy it. At this point a car in-hand beats one in Porsche virtual reality any day ?.

It appears you got 90% of the car you wanted for 91% of the price they wanted, so sounds like a fair deal?

Beautiful car, well-specced, and had the hard-to-find "instant gratification" option to boot. Enjoy!

One more thing is that with the MSRP price increase on the Taycan RWD, this would have been more expensive purchased today for 2023? So think you are saving $15K++ vs new.

Is it a CPO? if it is, you get much better warranty as well!

Car looks awesome congrats. Very similar position, I didn't want to wait either and found one close to perfect spec and drove it away last week. I'm in the UK so hard to compare pricing but looks like a good deal to me!

You done good!
Dolomite silver is a good base color to contrast the black Taycan design elements.
