How to play VIDEOS in the Taycan's PCM Screen

I'm supposed to receive the Universal MMB box from Amazon around March 10th. I'll report back if it arrives, if it works, and how it compares to the UBISHENG box I mentioned in post #36 above. The one feature that I want is the ability to screen cast. Both the UBISHENG and MMB boxes mention using an app called Happycast. It is not available on the Goggle Playstore. It is available on the Happycast website, but I'm hesitant to download apps onto my phone that aren't available through the Goggle Playstore or Apple.

I like JMI91 could not get the MMB box to work but we both have MY2021 Taycan's - from what I have read the PCM on the 21 cars is reported to be a quicker. Is yours a MY2020 car?

Yes I have an early build 2020. I will report back when I get the device.

Hi JMI91 -well the device arrived. I plugged it in and it flashed green for about 15s and then pulsated green but no screen appears - Will see what support has to say and report back.

Have you tried to bind the MMB on Carplay ? On the PCM, button "add device", then on top left, "connect new device" and then "connect Apple Carplay".

This morning, I have sent MMB log files to the support. They are under investigation...

I had tried that - no luck. I did plug it into our Macan and no problem. I wonder if it is down to the upgraded MY2021 PCM. Please let us know what they come back with. It will be interesting to see if wemct gets it to work in a MY2020.

I have received the Universal MMB box and it doesn't work on the Taycan MY2021...
I have tested it on a VW Polo and it works, but it is very slow...

All ok on panamera and 911 but nothing on Taycan my2021

Where do you have contact the support? i've send email but nothing

Here is the information from the UBISHENG box. The main reason I ordered the UBISHENG box versus the MMB was that it is using Android 9.0 vs Android 7.0 (MMB).

I ordered both the UBISHENG box and the MMB box through Amazon in the US with 30 days to return. So low risk for to try and return if I'm not satisfied. If I had to order from somewhere else I would be hesitant to do it because of the difficulty to receive a full refund (or to pay a high shipping cost back to China).
