Am I the only one being annoyed to see that at least half of the articles about EV's contain mistakes about power and energy units ?
It looks like journalists need to get some basic engineering classes !
I constantly read things like:
"Charging at 100kwh", "The car has a 75kw battery", "We charged 50kw in 20min"
How hard can it be to do this right?
-KiloWatt is 1000 watt and a unit of power. Used for the power of a car or the power of a charger.
-KiloWattHour is 1000 watt during one hour. A unit of energy. Used for the size of a battery. Or energy charged or consumed during a certain time.
Or are only engineers annoyed by this ?
