My car is currently having a new part installed… I’m glad I’m not picking up the bill!!..

They sent me some photos which provide a good view of the inner workings!!.

Hopefully it will resolve the fault!!

What it does tell me is definitely definitely pay for extended warranty when the time comes!

Based on this post and your other forum post, with all the replacement parts, short of a new battery pack... you should almost have a new car! I hope this (last) replacement fixes the fault. Best of luck!

Cheers!!… ??. It’ll be close to 5 months but credit to Porsche, they’ve kept me mobile in a comparable fleet of cars and have made best endeavours to find the fault… I’m sure this will solve it!!.

?… a load drone and vibration somewhere in the drive train when ever the car was in 1st gear… they tried a new gear box but that didn’t fix it, they tried something else and that didn’t fix it, so this was next (and last I think?!) on the list of options.. ?… if you’re familiar with Only Fools and Horses, my car is like Trigger ‘s broom!.

Three times in and they can't fix the Problem you have a Lemon Law.
They will Return all your money and you basically drove there car around for free.

I'd be interested to learn what the root cause was for that loud noise and vibration!
Because if they had already changed the gearbox (which would have been my first guess), then it's hard to imagine what else it could be.
Good luck that with the replacement of the whole system your worries are gone!!
