Hey guys,
Just thought maybe I should post so I can officially be part of the club! I got super lucky and was able to find a new 2022 rwd when I had been on the waitlist for my own build for 4 months and then backed out. It’s not exactly what I was looking for since it doesn’t have the performance package, but it does have the tech package lol.

It’s definitely a different look with a hard top but I think I’m liking it. Anyways, I just wanted to say hello and see what you guys think of it and any words of advice I might be missing…

Thanks guys! Thought about getting tinting done. Is it best to do that through Porsche or to just find a good third party?

The car looks great. Congrats on getting it! My vote would be to get windows done directly with a tint and PPF shop. It will be easier to deal with any issues that come up as opposed to through the dealer that is just a middleman to a shop. Also, definitely get clear side markers too!

Looks extremely similar to mine…. Not a huge fan of all around tint…. Different strokes

Hard top one is a future classic, like manual 993 these days . Congrats!

The dealer would likely sends it out to a third party anyway. Agreed with another poster about the clear side marker. It’s a breeze to change out but makes a huge improvement. There are posts on here showing how to do it if you don’t already know.

Agree with others about getting the tints.

I have got the pano roof, but I think if I was speccing again, I may ditch it and go for coloured interior instead (I went standard black).

The main benefit of the pano roof is for back seat passengers, but never happens with just me and the wife.
