Hopefully you aren’t buying the assurance on the timing of delivery. No dealer (or even Porsche themselves) can make that claim. Car is nice though ?
Agree - I am taking it with a grain of salt. Buying a CPO Cayenne Coupe S until it arrives so no issue if late, but would be frustrating.

Agree Rear Axle Steer is a must.

We have standard interior in black and for us it's just fine and no regrets at all. If you are worried about having any regret, go for the leather.

Over 90% of our driving is daily commuting and we top off every night at home (@ $.014 / KWh). After 13K miles, we have never needed the big battery even after several road trips. On one trip (Atlanta - Tampa) modeled in ABRP, the big battery would have gotten us there about 15-20 minutes faster. Some argue that PB+ has better resale value but that's yet to be proven.

Really like the colored Porsche Logo inserts on the wheels.

Get the dealer to throw in the clear side markers.

Finally a big fan of massage seats (after the test drive, it's what got my wife's final "go for it" on the car)
I had massage seats on my 750i a few years ago. It was great for long trips.

Thoughts on the Chalk leather interior?

Its obviously a matter of opinion although although have yet to see it in person and not sure of the durability. I have had light interiors in BMW's before with no issues and looked great.

Loud enough given its regulated.

I guess if you want / need the baratone version at low speed then ES it is ?
Maybe…but nowadays, lots of people are browsing over their phones, listening music, etc….and i guess that legislators didn;t take that into account?
anyway: i havent’ used sport sound in the urban areas yet…but i’m using it during when i’m coming back home (last two miles) nights quite often (with IR camera, I see animals how they are running away).

I have black/chalk as well, and it doesn't nearly look as light/white as it does on Porsche website. Typically not a fan of white/bright interiors, but chalk looks awesome with tinted windows.

That was my biggest concern. I like the look of the black/chalk from photos as haven't seen it live yet although the Porsche builder online makes the color look white/bright which I wanted to avoid. As the chalk exterior is not white, I figured the builder online is off and started looking at owners photos. It seems a perfect fit with Neptune Blue.

It's a light grey (think white crayon) and goes well with black, grey, blue, cherry etc.

Your dealer will have samples to look at so best do that and rely less on the poor reproduction of the configurator.

I have recently taken delivery of a Neptune Blue 4S with Chalk Interior. It's a gorgeous colour combination. And I must say as an aside that the Neptune Blue is gorgeous, elegant, and I receive MANY comments on it from drivers, passers-by, kids, and the list goes on.

That's great - very reassuring to hear as I decided its the way to go!

looks like you chose the 20" Taycan Turbo Aero Wheels as well. I am still drawn between the Turbo Aero or Sports Aero!

Did you add any Race-Tex inside?

Any regrets on the build?

I think, as others have pointed out, that rear wheel steering is the big missing item - if you can afford to, then definitely add this.

If not, then there are range of options that you currently have included, that whilst nice to have (and many I’ve included on my build) I would recommend to drop to raise funds for the rear wheel steer, including the VLC roof, powered charging point cover, aluminium pedals, electric sports sound, insulated glass etc.

Agree 100% on the "Rear Axle Steering" - I updated my bid and added it. Thanks!

Less than one week into my 4S and I already know what I am missing: HUD, insulated glass, and variable light control roof.
