I have seen this on not just my car, but others too with PSCB brakes (white caliper). There is a section that seems to wear differently. My questions are, is this normal? What is happening?
and is there any adjustment to minimize or prevent it all together? thank you in advance for helping me in this mystery!

Both my front discs have a weaker variant of what the picture shows, in about the same position. Can imagine it is debris, but not sure - probability of having it in the same position across so many discs would not be high I think. Would be very interested in reading more if you check and find debris!

PSCB brake calipers can also be painted black.

I thought so too, initally, but it on both discs, exactly same spot and thickness, and as or1 states it happens on many disks at same area of disk. I will see if my service dept knows anything about it.

Do you feel anything like a groove forming on the disk, like from a stud poking through on a worn-down brake pad?

Mine were like that. I had light grinding noise that could be felt through the brake pedal when the mechanical brakes kicked in (or done purposely when putting the car in neutral). Got the rotors and brake pads replaced with the updated part number. Noise is gone but wear is back. Although, the pattern is a bit different.

My ride is MY20 with 13K miles, and the rotor pattern looks weird thou.
Can anyone give me comments about it?

I'd say its 'normal' mine are a year old and not totally dissimilar to what you are seeing. Not all of the visible disc is touched with the brake pads I've just had the brake hose recall work completed and if anything untoward with the discs would have been flagged then which it wasn't.

It may be these can be cleaned.

I confirm these can be cleaned, albeit not 100% gone.
I had very similar, maybe a bit more accentuated marks, which resulted into quite a bad squeal during tight turns at speeds below 40-50km/h.

During my visit for recalls at the dealer, mentioned this happening, so they cleaned the disks and then they ran the brakes in. According to them it happens because i don't brake hard enough & often enough, and it is normal.

What @W1NGE said.....

The outer half of the disc is what PSCBs should actually look like when properly bedded, not nice and shiny. Since the brakes aren't used regularly or in some cases, not with enough force, those brake pad deposits usually come off the disc. If you're still under warranty and want something to complain about, I'd ask the dealer why isn't there equal pad pressure along the disc. At worst, they'll say it's normal. Best, you'll get any combination of new brake calipers/pads/discs.

There's an issue with these brakes, mine look the same, some part shiny other not, like the pads are not touching the whole disc.

I use this same thread to get some support.

Car has driven 45 000km and now there is rattle noise from right front side while driving and when turning to left.

Driving straight there is no this rattle sound.

Well, in service Porsche mechanic told that the noise is from PSCB -brake disc due there are hot spots. (Looks like bubbles on disc to me). Car has mostly runned on city so not used on racetracks.

On cold morning the rattle noise was not so strong, so very difficult to say are the pads leaning these hot spots while turning or not and was there more gap due colder weather.

But sounds funny that noise is from brake discs and only while turning. But on sevice they claim that renewing all brake discs and pads that will be fixed...

Is there any recalls regarding this issues with PSCB?

What you think?
There are couple photos on attachment.

Coating is visibly compromised. Hope it is under warranty. Check out the link I posted few posts above.
