MY23, 4S Saloon, Performance Battery Plus and 20” Turbo wheels. Covered 1110miles.

Anyone seen/explain this. Did my usual charge to 85% at work using the profile to limit the maximum charge.

Drove home (about 6 miles, city driving) and when I reached my destination the SoC had increased to 87%. Pictures attached.

Did you switch drive mode or change AC to Eco, Eco Plus or Off?

Doesn't really explain but could be a software glitch.

What happened when you powered off and then on again?

Had the car just been charged on ultrafast EVSE and the battery hot?

I wouldn't mind getting either of those ranges on 85/87% charge. Don't let them fix it!

3.3 was my average over 20,535 miles in a 4S PB+ 20" wheels.
Do you believe those numbers?
I have 1,88/km, which means 3,008 kwh/mile….after 27k km.
But this average consumption dropped during winter from 1,99 even if my charge-to-charge consumption was never below 2,5.
Therefore, i don’t believe to Porsche math at all.

For me the indications are quite good. I have this year got around 3.1 miles/kWh for 3000 kms average. And have about 40k km on the car I total. The big update did improve range and lower consumption for my use case. Planning a 9000 km trip over the next 7-8 weeks with a lot of motorway driving. So will be interesting to see consumption then.

I just don’t understand how could average consumption went down if my charge-to-charge consumption during winter was higher then before.

So Your average consumption was lower than before duringwinter driving, yet your kWh charge has increased from charge to charge?

Admit that this sounds peculiar.

I have no idea on what EV’s in general and Porsche in particular include in the consumption figures though.

Is it measured only to what the motors have consumed ro get you from A to B?
OR is all consumption included such as battery prewarming, cabin heating etc etc. ??

I would hope the latter??

Yes, total average consumption after 27k km is 18,8kwh/100km.
Few months ago, when i changed to winter tires, it was 19.9kwh/100km.
I’m sure about those numbers and i was susprised how comes to 19.9 too since I was monitoring charge-to-charge consumption that was almost over 20kwh/100km.

I never reset my Trip recorder since day 1 and 100% agree with the calculations thereby derived.

- Regular EVSE / Zappi 22kw. Charging rate 11kw
- This morning range was still at 87% when I set off for work
- No change in drive mode or adjusting cabin temperature etc.

Like you said I think its probably a software glitch.

I never reset as well, but as i said, i don’t understand how it make those average results.

edit: just noticed, that i made mistake in my previous comments.
So, after 27k km, my averwge consumption was 18,8kwh/100km.
Which means 3,32 kwh per mile.

My total average show 2.9 mi per kWh, which would translate into 240 mile average range assuming 83kw usable battery. My car has NEVER seen 240, much less averaged that. It’s overstated by at least 10-15 percent. My actual total average is around 2.53.

I wanted to circle back in this thread about range of my performance battery plus. I have now driven about 1800 miles. I am only getting about 222 Miles when I charge to 100% which is approximately 10% less than what is claimed for this battery pack … right?
I am curious what others here are getting for the same battery pack. Can you please share?

I get about the same or slightly lower. A lot depends on your spec, how you drive, and temps.
